Who Are We?

Our Churhes

St Mary's is an evangelical Anglican church (Church of England) in the North Eastern part of the Diocese of Manchester, in Rawtenstall at the heart of the Rossendale Valley. We are a sister church with St Paul’s, Constable Lee just half a mile up the road, and also St Mary's with St John's, Goodshaw at the top-end of the Valley.

Our vision is to “reveal Jesus as we love God and serve others in the power of His Spirit”.

We’re just a group of very ordinary people trying to discover what it means to follow Jesus day by day; if you’re not perfect then you’ll fit in really well!

Our Joint Benefice logo is based on the winning design by Daniella Whittaker, a year 11 pupil at Alder Grange School, Rawtenstall in 2017. Our thanks go to all those who submitted designs.
